For others, there may be a per unit cost along with the rate; most invoice generators will automatically multiply the unit cost by the number of units to give you the total for that line item.

  • Any additional fees

    Depending on the type of work and the state in which you’re working, you may need to add on additional costs and fees, such as shipping, sales tax, or discounts. These can go with the line items.
